Lost
Lake In Illinois
Lost Lake is an 88-acre Lake located in northwest Illinois. Nestled
around this beautiful habitat are acres of gently rolling, wooded hills.
Hundreds of homeowners currently make this community their permanent or
vacation home. Local residents enjoy sports such as fishing, golf and
snowmobile riding. The air is pristine and noise pollution is virtually
nonexistent. Only the varied sounds of nature seem to permeate the area.
Adjacent to the west and north of this beautiful lake is the residential
community of New Landing. It is roughly equidistant from the lovely
Illinois cities of Dixon,
Franklin Grove and
Oregon.
The Lost Lake Difference
From its humble beginnings as a theme-based residential community,
Lost Lake has steadily matured over the past 21 years. Many
individuals, including our 11-person Board of Directors work hard to
keep Lost Lake a quiet, respectable and attractive place to live,
raise a family and retire. We offer a well-stocked 88-acre Lake for
fishing. The Lost Nation Golf Club, a challenging and well-maintained
18-hole course is just minutes away, as are 5 other public and private
courses. Park facilities offer fun for the kids. Our Tennis Court and
Recreation Center complete a superb package of amenities for the adults.
Planned Social Events grace the annual calendar and schools and churches
are all extremely accessible.
Room To Grow
Part of the success story of the Lost Lake area is that only a moderate
number of homebuilders and homebuyers have discovered it. However, we will not be the "best kept secret in Western
Illinois" forever. As people look for uncluttered places to live,
Lost Lake stands poised for the wave of newcomers whom we
welcome with open arms. With everything there is to offer, we expect a
steady but manageable flow of residents that will make us the premier
place to live in Western Illinois. Why not call and visit us this some
weekend ? Check out our easy driving directions
