BriefLost Lake is a private, gated community in southern Ogle County, Illinois. We offer comfort and pleasure to those seeking to buy or build single family residential dwellings. Our by-laws and regulations require a minimum 1500 sq. ft. residence, so it is an ideal place for a second home or weekend retreat. Enjoy recreational activities like fishing, snowmobiling, ATV riding, tennis, and planned Social Events. Playgrounds and Parks are waiting for the children, as are the excellent Dixon and Franklin Grove schools. Lost Nation Golf Club is adjacent to New Landing, with convenient access from within the development. Associated Organizations Lost Lake is proud to be unified with the Lost Nation POA and the New Landing POA whose members reside primarily on the opposite side of Lost Lake. You can learn more about the Lost Nation POA here. In addition, the River Conservancy District (RCD) is the governing body that manages all aspects of Lost Lake. Find out more about the RCD here. The recent formation of the Lost Lake Utility District will bring efficient, state of the art improvements to our independent water and sewerage treatment plants.
